Why Hedgehogs Have Spines
Once, when Hedgehog had no spines he and Lion were great friends. One day, Lion heard
Hedgehog telling a very funny story to a group of rabbits . when Lion heard that, he was furious!
He scared all of the rabbits away, and poked holes into Hedgehogs back. It was very painful for Hedgehog. When Hedgehog's wife saw the holes in his back, she put some of her needles into the holes (sharp side up ). From then on,hedgehogs have been born with spines.
