Trek
Trek was June 8th- 11th, and it was really fun. We started out on Wednesday, at one of the church buildings. Then we drove to the ranch where it was going to take place. At the ranch we got divided into our "families". After a while, we started walking we walked only four miles on Wednesday. On Thursday, we walked six miles. It was the longest and the hardest day. I got three blisters. After we got to camp, set up camp, had dinner, and had a fireside, we had a dance. then we went to bed. On Thursday, we walked five miles. During the last half-mile, I had to ride in the handcart because my blisters were hurting a lot. Riding in the handcart was very bumpy and uncomfortable, but it was better than walking on my blisters. After dinner, my mom popped my blisters, and that hurt. A little while after that, we had a pioneer dance. it was very fun. Then we had a fireside, and we performed our skits. The theme of the skits was "Come Unto Zion". A lot of the skits were really funny. On Saturday (the last day) we only walked two miles. It was pretty easy. I was actually able to walk the last to miles, because I did not have any blisters. Then we finally went home. It was really nice to take a shower again. We got really dirty on Trek, but it was a wonderful experience.
